Our History

Midwest Premier Juniors was founded on a simple idea: by working together, we can create greater opportunities for athletes, families, and the volleyball community.

The club was established through a partnership between Team Pineapple, Empowered Volleyball Academy, and NIVA—three organizations with a long history of developing athletes and growing the sport throughout Indiana and the Midwest. Although Midwest Premier Juniors is a new club, the relationships behind it have been built over many years.

The three organizations have collaborated on numerous initiatives, including the Midwest Power Series and Pineapple High Performance, working together to provide high-level training and competitive experiences for athletes from across the region. Through those partnerships, a shared vision emerged: bring elite coaching, player development, and competitive volleyball closer to home for families in the Warsaw area.

Rather than asking athletes to choose between programs or travel long distances to pursue their goals, Midwest Premier Juniors was created to unite experienced coaches, proven training philosophies, and valuable resources under one club dedicated to serving the local community.

Today, Midwest Premier Juniors is committed to providing athletes with exceptional coaching, a positive and competitive culture, and a clear pathway for growth. Whether a player's goal is to build confidence, compete at the highest club levels, or pursue volleyball beyond high school, our mission is to help every athlete maximize their potential.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to the values that brought this partnership together—collaboration, excellence, integrity, and a passion for developing young people both on and off the court. We believe the strongest programs are built through teamwork, and we look forward to building the future of volleyball in our community together.
